Multimedia University (MMU) was celebrated at the Sang Wara Seni 4 ‘Sengkela Perak’ Awards Ceremony, held at the Zenith Hotel, Putrajaya. MMU took home two awards: the Lentera Hati Award, accepted by Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, President of MMU, and the Kesuma Harapan Award, which recognized Ms. Hilyah Amirah, an MMU student, as Best New Actress (Female Category) on 2 September 2024.

Organised by the Public Service Theatre and Culture Unit (UTEPA) and Antara Seni Perkhidmatan Awam (ASPA), was officiated by Datuk Dr. Anesee Ibrahim, Deputy Director-General of Public Services (Development), who represented the Director-General of Public Services. MMU played a pivotal role in the production of the Sengkela Perak theatre performance, contributing through its creative talent, multimedia expertise, recording, and acting. This successful collaboration highlights the strong partnership between MMU and the Public Service Department (JPA).
